Vision, Mission & Goals
To transform the provision of survivorship care in BC for men with prostate cancer through a provincial collaborative and implement patient & family centered, multidisciplinary and evidence‐based approaches.
To build prostate cancer survivorship capacity in BC and enable specialists and multidisciplinary teams to learn from and teach each other as they work with a shared purpose and plan.
- Develop a ‘virtual’ program so men who can’t access a physical instance of the program can access it online
- Create provincial working groups in the areas of sexual rehabilitation, oncology nutrition, exercise, androgen deprivation therapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy, and counselling to enhance the care available provincially to men with prostate cancer
- Bring together like-minded physicians, healthcare professionals and researchers to conduct survivorship research in a collaborative group
