Victoria PCSC Program
The Victoria PCSC Program was initiated in 2016 as a satellite of the Vancouver PCSC Program, with funding from the Specialist Services Committee. The Victoria site has been providing Module 1 education sessions since October 2016. Further funding from Astellas Pharma Canada, Inc. has allowed for the expansion of the Victoria program to offer educational sessions for Modules 2, 3, 4 and 5. This funding will also cover individual exercise assessments and the creation of two new modules (7A and 7B) to support patients with Advanced Disease. The Victoria PCSC program works in collaboration with the Island Prostate Centre (IPC), a local non-profit information and resource centre, in order to expand the services available to men and their families throughout the Vancouver Island region. Ministry of Health Support will lead to additional enhancement and extension of the PCSC Program at Victoria.
In Victoria, the PCSC Program is located at BC Cancer.
